As I mentioned earlier, my favorite Nara Park!
Although there are various sights in Nara Park, in this we will introduce “Nigatsu-do Hall of Todai-ji Temple” in this time!
Nigatsu-do Hall of Todai-ji Temple was built about 1,200 years ago, but it was destroyed by fire once and the current building was built about 450 years ago. It was designated as a National Treasure of Japan about 15 years ago.
It is specified as a national treasure of Japan, but the admission fee is free!
It is located 7 and 8 minutes on foot from the famous Todaiji Temple and theGreat Buddha Hall , and it is on the hillside climbing the slope. You can feel the taste of Japan by going through the path of the soil wall or climbing the stone steps of the corridor in the road.
Moreover, the view of the city of Nara Park and Nara, overlooking from Nigatsu-do Hall of Todai-ji Temple is also very wonderful, so I will definitely stop by when I go to Nara Park.
Nigatsu-do Hall of Todai-ji Temple is a Buddhist temple with a honorable image of the eleventh facade.
It is not too big on the scale, and it can be seen in about 15 to 20 minutes.
When you leave “Nigatsu-do Hall of Todai-ji Temple”, there is Wakakusa Mountain in the immediate place and you can go up to the top in about 40 minutes.
Actually, this “Nigatsu-do Hall of Todai-ji Temple” can be visited for 24 hours, and in the evening it is lantern light, it will also be a quiet and mysterious atmosphere.
Why do not you take a free national treasure shrine at Nara Park that Japanese people love?
